i took this picture on kodiak island, AK. it is quite an experience to be in front of such a bear: you need to stay completely calm and always have a way out behind you. i was very excited, so that my hands were shaking a litte :( , but the result of the evening were some nice pitures :D somehow i feel bad to put pictures of alaska into the net. i think you all should go there to see it "real life". all these alaska pitures are beautiful, but you can never imagine how this state, this land looks like.
