The parent and the anhinga chicks are not happy that an older anhinga chick has come to visit. The parent gave it a good peck on the head and her beak is still dripping. Anhingas by nature are very mean birds but are very affectionate to their mate and their offspring. They are in a nest stolen from the egrets. They destroyed the egret eggs and confiscated the nest as their own. They're really snakes with beaks and feathers as you can tell from the looks of the little ones.
