Just another one of our beautiful sunsets over Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans. The summer sailboats go out at this time especially to enjoy supper on board and watch the sunset. This is Lake Pontchartrain, not the Mississippi River. The Mississippi River is still at flood stage but the Army Corps of Engineers are adamant about not opening the Spillway.
