Left home at 4:30 a.m. to get this sunrise on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I had not been there since six months after Hurricane Katrina and there has been much improvement but most of the beautiful homes that lined the shore are gone. Some people are rebuilding, rebuilding magnificent houses on stilts high above the ground. However, nothing can take away the beauty of the beach, the sand, the sea grasses and the gorgeous sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico.
