My quest on this day was to pick the buds, flowers, seed pods, unfurled lilypads and fullblown lily pads to make a flower arrangement. These flowers do not last long out of their natural environment. After picking them from the flatboat, I put them all in a plastic bag, took them home and kept them in a bathtub of water overnight. Gently, very gently, I made a flower arrangement this morning. I may post it later.
