Took a trip to Grandfather's Mountain (which is absolutely gorgeous). I was lucky enough that the sun wasn't out (thanks to hurricane isaac), which was great since I got there midday and was nervous about harsh light. First time going to the mountains with this camera, so I was super excited! I tried my best to capture the fog and tried to make the green standout.
