I originally worked on this photo from an old January file thinking it may be a "low" angle, lol. Since then I decided not. Though taken many months apart, I believe this heron could be the same as previous post. I was sitting under the pier pilings when he took up the perch here. I figured it must know I was there. Eventually I walked out the opposite direction so I wouldn't spook the bird. He continued his reign over the area. lol I wanna say he? lol
