The title might have you a bit dumbfounded, but these as well as about thirty crossed in front of us in Black Mesa country in the panhandle of Oklahoma. The speed limit was fifty, but we ran twenty five to thirty for about fifty miles so my hubby wouldn't hit one by mistake. Granted, they are really good eating, but I was over three hundred miles from home and a pronghorn antelope doesn't make for a decent hood ornament, 'specially when you've borrowed your mother's car.
