In May 2004, when the fuse dike was built, it had more than four layers of sand bags in height, as we can confirm in my gallery in the photo Barrinha .11 taken twelve years ago . Since then and in the requalification that is being targeted, the dike has no more than one or two layers of the said sand bags, which does not prevent the silting up of the mouth of Barrinha when the sea is more turbulent. We can see this in this photo and in the photo Requalification of Barrinha .62 .... That said, and coupled with the fact that three quarters of the Barrinha crown is yet to be dredged, we can perhaps observe that this requalification is in need of a requalification ....
