I have made this photograph this morning early, underway to my work, you can see yourself how early. This is the Watergate (Waterpoort) in my city. He stands to the quay at the river the Waal. The Watergate has been shot in the war (just like a large part of the city centre) In the years seventy the Watergate has been rebuilt. The building beside is the region museum. The passage under the gate can be made closed at high water with beams and it is smear off with straw and horses crap, so that it can leak not by.
