This is one of the "new" shrubs we had planted the day before this rain shower. It's a "Purple Fringeflower" or Loropetalum. They are quite beautiful, with dark purplish-green leaves and frilly pink flowers. I saw that pair of drips about to happen off those nicely poised leaves and got another close-up shot.
