We have four of these "Hot Pink" Crape Myrtles, and they have just begun to bloom this past week. When you glance at these from a distance, you usually see just the mounds of frilly pink stuff, which in itself is pretty, but not all that interesting. But one look at it up close changes all that...when I saw all that marvelous "apparatus" in the center, I knew I had a shot. I love those things that look like little magenta "shower heads" curled back toward the center. Y'all enjoy!
