The graceful flight of big birds is a fascinating thing to watch and even better if you catch a picture as they take flight. The conditions were difficult and I fired away not knowing if I would capture him at all. I got the most of him with a sparkling bokeh of water background. I added texture and sepia which I toned down some to fade closer to black and white. Posterize and canvas was added as well. It was all a matter of taste...to each his own. Looking more for a manipulation than actual photograph without loss of details. Let us loose the bounds of earth and take flight like a bird. Feel the air under our wings and the sun on our face. Pain and sorrow flee away and joyful surrender cradles me for all time. I'll fly away some day but for now I patiently wait for the morrow.
