This is Shibdon pond,Once a garbage tip,Now Reclaimed.It's 400m from my home.I go there to relax and feed my friends the ducks and geese.On the horizon is the west end of the city of Newcastle.The west end is where i was born 66 years ago on May 18th..These birds after being very timid,Now run to greet me when they see me coming.Amazing creatures they feed from my hand and peck at my shoes if i don't get a move on with the food..I love going there winter or summer they are always waiting..R.
