Yes, that's its name and it's to be found in Royden Park on The Wirral Peninsular, over the Mersey from Liverpool. Roodee derives from the Anglo-Saxon meaning 'The island of the Cross' and mere is the Anglo-Saxon for lake. Anyway, it's a beautiful small lake with a strange name.
