This is a dredger on The River Mersey.It is keeping the deep water channel open for oil tankers to get to the Tranmere Oil Terminal.This photo was taken on the night of 28th August 2007 when Liverpool celebrated its 800th anniversary. The boat stopped its work so the crew could watch the fireworks.
This is a reworking and replacement now I've been a regular on Caedes for almost a year.
