This is, of course, The River Mersey. On the far side is Liverpool. You can easily see the huge Anglican Cathedral and just to its left the "crown" of The Catholic Cathedral. In the foreground to the left is the Tranmere oil terminal where crude oil is unloaded and piped to the Stanlow oil refinery ten miles away. To the right is Mrs b bird watching.
