This double rainbow was captured yesterday afternoon (8/10/2014) and was photographed from the Promenade in "Glorious" New Brighton and seems to land in a friend's back garden (we have told her to start digging!).

The secondary rainbow is a mirror image of the main rainbow. The dark band between the two rainbows is called the Alexander Band.

This image was taken on a Fuji AX 250, our emergency, car camera.
