I took this self-portrait while transferring the plans for my 15 foot cedar wood strip canoe from paper to the plywood, from which molds would be cut, around which the cedar strips would be bent and glued into position. This was from my first day of work on the canoe, and my image Western Red Cedar Shavings is from much later in the process as I was prepping the outside of the hull for sanding and fiberglass and epoxy.
