By the mid 1960's the world of mental problems and thier treatments begain to change. Faced with fenderal and state funding cuts and costly repairs the N.M.I.A. now called Northern Michigan Mental Hospital...starts to crumble. Hundreds of patients are released to fend on their own. The institution is now 80+ years old and beginning to become a thing of bygone days.
