I was commenting on one of Gerry's fine photos when I noticed a little green movement on my young giant hibiscus. This young katydid was doing calisthenics and sizing up a meal. Just got this shot when it decided it wanted its privacy and dove into the parsley.

Good choice. Much better for his health.

This is a, neoconocephalus nebrascensis, or, cone-headed katydid.
