This was Thanksgiving morning, 2007. I had gone out early to shoot the sunrise, and when I got to this spot, there was a massive cloud bank on the horizon. I was kind of disappointed, because I wanted some good sunrise shots, but I waited around to see what happened. After a little while the sun popped over the cloud bank. There is always an opportunity for a shot, no matter what the circumstances.
