This is the spiral staircase in a cathedral in Mobile, Alabama. The stairs go down to the tombs where some very important people are buried. You can't actually get into the tombs because they are behind a fence, but you can go down the stairs and there is a little room down there. Anyway, I just though this pic was interesting the way it turned out - it almost looks like some kind of shell to me. Enjoy, and I appreciate your comments. Eli
