These delightful little birds have a variety of names. My favourite is "Fairey Wren". To sit quietly in my garden and have 5 or 6 of these flitting through the shrubs eating insects and sometimes picking up crumbs between my feet is something I treasure. This is a male in full breeding colours. Non breeding males and females are a dull brown colour.
