Before going any further I must warn you that the image quality is not my best. The original negative was destroyed from water damage, but that is a very long story. This image is for Bayoubooger the person who loves the swamp. Saturday I posted an image titled Carl and Old Tree. I thought that today I would turn around a show you what Carl was photographing, This may not be a a swamp as you know it but we, (Carl and I) discovered this place in the north/west portion of the Denver/Metro area. Now Colorado has the Rocky Mountains. The Great Sand Dunes, Vast Prairies and... A swamp? Not any more. Sadly, it was filled and homes now stand upon this place that was a sanctuary for birds and other creatures. So this is progress?
