When I moved to the west I fell in love with not only the Rocky Mountains but also the Spanish influence on the architecture. The red tiled roof and stucco walls of buildings in any color that you may ever dream of. Ahhhh but Adobe with it's gracious rounded arches, and gates are a thing of beauty to me. I wonder how many feet have passed through this sold gate that has been left open for sometime as can be seen by the growth in front of it and the rusted hinges that have come loose at the top of the gate.It is a feeling of welcome to all who pass this way. This is a land of the true meaning of Mi Casa es su Casa.
