I was sad to read about Verena's passing. She was a very special person who had a true love for the Outdoors and Nature. She left many kind and thoughtful messages in my gallery. It seems like alot of people in my life are passing this year, creating an inner need for reflection. We don't get to choose when or how we pass, but we do get to choose how we live our lives. We can choose to not let a day go by without stopping to appreciate some small event; the smile of a child, the song of a bird, a sunset, a quiet scene..... Verena's words told me that she took lots of time to appreciate small events. Her appreciation of nature and small events will be missed.....
