While technically not a redo by caedes definition, it is the same bird on the same twig, just a week later. What's different is that I am only about 15 feet from the bird (not 30), my iso setting is 250 (not 320) and I am using a 1.4x tele-converter on my 600mm lens (greater magnification). Both days are cloudy so a tripod is a must as my shutter speed is only 1/25 of a second. Slight motion is picked up on the end of the bird's bill. In that I am closer with greater magnification the camera is able to pick up more information. The result is less background distortion, greater resolution and more detail. If I knew how to create a link, I would take you to the other picture for comparison. Please remember that these are really tiny birds and I am making them really big.
