This picture was taken this past Spring. A friend of mine and myself went for a ride around county and I made sure I went to Big Creek. It is a creek that flows down into Lake Erie..next to a conservation area...it always has birds!! Anyways, this morning there was a flock of these Mute Swans in creek. It was very overcast day with fog. I read in my bird book that these Mute Swans were introduced to North America from Europe in the 1900's and are now commonly seen in ponds, parks and in the wild...it also says they can be aggressive.
