This giraffe photo was taken at the Colchester Zoo in England, in summer 2007. For animals who are so big and tall, giraffes are remarkably gentle creatures - they will lean over the fence of the enclosure and happily take some foliage from you, or lick your hand. Considering the size of a giraffe's tongue, that is quite a bizarre experience... lol !
