There are actually about eleven Greylag Geese in this family.

I spent my entire time sprawled on the grass tactically throwing pinches of bread at short or long distances when the time was right. I always prefer to use the cameras conventional eyepiece when shooting photos, but this time the lcd viewfinder was twisted out, & used with the camera body almost laid on the grass.

These fine birds are bold as brass, & thought nothing of making body contact with me (especially the parents) In this shot they are getting a little too close. :o) It seems this family had two broods, I imagine a plentiful food supply played an important role in this decision.
