In September of each year the city of London celebrates the Mayor's Thames Festival, which includes art, music, booths, a Carnival-like parade and fireworks to end the celebration. The last time we were in London we timed it to be there when the festival was happening. Totally fun! Watched the fireworks on a bridge spanning the Thames; second best fireworks display I've ever seen. London, UK; September, 2009.
