This is a Oriental Poppy which is a Double Poppy". These poppies are perennial, so they come up every year.

Captured this yesterday, Saturday July 11, 2015 while I was out on my walk. The blossom look like beautiful tissue paper in which you use for gifts, and this would be a wonderful gift to the garden.

I approached the lady to see if I could take pictures of her roses and she told me all about these beautiful and lacy looking poppies. I had never heard of these but they sure were a wonderful sight to see. There were array of colours in this garden. I always ask people if I can take pictures of their flowers before I enter the yard.

I just loved the lovely colour of this one and the way it was smiling up at the wonderful sun and the warmth.

I only brought out the detail more and didn't do anything to the colour. Used iPiccy.com to bring it down in size to upload.
