Decided to take the original Negative Space Lily down for several reason. I wanted to work the background more and changed the background colour to a dark brown so it would look better in with the Stamens.

Each typical flower has six stamens attached at the base of the petals. Each stamen has a stalk called the filament that ends with a two-lobed anther filled with dust-like yellow pollen on the top.

Thanks to all the people who commented on the first posting of the Day Lily & also for the advice from a dear friends about the background of the first version having some flaws & he was so right.

This is going to me my entry to the current contest "Negative Space". I think the background is not as harsh as the black, let me you your thoughts.
