look a little left and a little below center. you can see some buildings. they are known as phantom ranch. when people hike the canyon they want to spend the night at this place. reservations must be made far far in advance. when traveling the river one goes from right to left. hidden by the mountain is where they park the boats. then the hikers walk up to the cabins. soon, i'll post another shot that i took with a big lens and you'll see it better. i would suggest viewing this full frame so you can see the buildings. thanks IN ADVANCE for any comments. enjoy!
