saw this beauty while walking the battlefield tour at Yorktown, Va. the french were indeed our allies when we fought the british in 1781. i thought this cannon was exquisite in the decorative arts. no doubt it has been "fixed up"...........................................at first i was going to upload it in our "general" gallery but it seems to be no more. then i thought of the fireworks gallery, then the trains gallery and ended up in this place because the cannon is mounted on wheels...............hmmmmmmm. thanks for any comments.
