A pair of ducks, the black and white one being the male, were sunning themselves on this piece of grassy mud. We saw the egret slither up to the little island, feathers slick and flat. Then it got mean. The female duck took her refuge in the water. The egret's feathers bristled and the male duck didn't seem to have a clue as to what to do. He just left. The egret flattened its feathers and stayed for a while and fished. Thanks for any comments. ENJOY! Please view this full frame.
