This image of the peony patch is from my archives which I shot at our local retirement community a few years ago - not this year however - for the past 2 years the grounds were restricted to the public due to covid so I was not able to take any shots - this year open access was available - I was so excited that I would now be permitted on the grounds to take pics of the newly bloomed peonies - this was not to be - just as the peonies were at their peak we had a series of bad thunder storms and heavy rain - when I did go back to see the peonies, they were all drooped and their petals were missing due to the rain - so enjoy this variety from previous years - You know what they say, there's always next year - As always, I'm wishing everyone at Caedes a Great Weekend
