5am, Gullfoss, Iceland. I'd woken at 4am to my alarm clock and an indescribable sunrise. Sleeping next to the falls, I simply dressed and was off. I took so many photos this morning! the sun rises straight down the top of the falls, as shown here, creating such a golden colour and double rainbows at the bottom. Incredible. As with so many other places in Iceland, if you're there at the right time, the whole experience feels so surreal and dreamlike. Unforgettable.
