Early morning clearing rain over Skogar, Iceland. I'd spotted the potential for a photo the night before, but had never dreamed of the rainbow being so exactly placed. Returning under rain, which thankfully soon cleared, the rainbow appeared and I took far too much time trying different compositions, and so got caught by the nxt downpour. The waterfall acts as lead-in to the mountain, and this was the best compositon I could find, simple and strong. the lighting on the mountain was by product of the clearing sky, and the specific timing allows such a clean crisp line between mountain and sky.
