Fishin' is what one would like to do or should be doing on a nice day. The chimney in this photo with the wooden structure built on to it is from before the Rapid City Flood in 1972. The chimney sat there by itself for about 34 years or so and then when they redid the park they added the covered picnic structure to it . The island in the middle of the lake use to sit out all by itself and the only way you could get to it was by boat or over the ice in the winter. The flood caused great damage and took 238 lives.
