This is a painting in oil and acryllic, it portrays Our Lady of Sorrows. The painting in itself speaks of encouragement to me. The encouragement comes from the fact that as a christian i believe in the blessed virgin as my mother, and i find refuge in the fact that she, having gone through suffering can understand the pain that i can go through in life. It also implies to me that God himself could understand the pain of life.
