ok ok so it is a compostie :P but it really is last night's Moon and it really is Cassiopeia, again from last night. The Moon was shot at 1/200th f14 iso 800 and Cassiopeia was shot at 10 seconds f3.2 iso 800. Only on return to base do i find that iso 800 for loooong exposure night shots of the pure black sky is way too noisy so there was a lot of curves applied to eliminate noise on the Cassiopeia shot. All adjustments done at RAW stage. Crystal clear skys make for frosty nights my fingers froze! ;) hope you like it as a silly desktop.
