Yorktown, Virginia, USA. Upon the capitulation of Yorktown by the British, the Americans were now in possession of 244 artillery pieces, with 8000 British and German troops having surrender their armaments and ten stands of colors, thousands of muskets, twenty-four transport ships, and hoses and wagons. All artillery pieces were inscribed with "Surrendered by the Capitulation of York-Town Oct 19, 1781" This is one mounted on a display at Surrender Field.
