Skógafoss waterfall in the southern part of Iceland is about 60 metres high. The erosion (mainly from the glacier rivers) formed a flat plain a few kilometres wide and moved the shoreline south. From these plains the mountains of the highlands rise rather abruptly, allowing for many beautiful waterfalls. This one is special because of its straight edge.
