OK... Started with a music symbols font, took the treble clef from Word to Paint, inverted the colors & saved as a BMP, adjusted the brightness, re-saved it as a GIF (the limited palette created the dots), filled the empty space (why the black creeps into the sides of clef), saved again, changed the hue & saved again as a JPEG. This is the final image. I think it's nice, anyway.
