A burst of sunshine yellow from both flower and fly. This is a Hoverfly [Helophilus pendulus] on Ragwort [Senecio sp.]. Sometimes the subject seems to know you want to take it's picture and poses on the perfect background colour It just needs to say 'cheese' now...!
