This, the first in an occasional series of the famous White Horses of Wiltshire, is of Westbury White Horse the oldest. It was originally cut in the early 1700s. For more information look here. The reason for the title? - Directly above the horse is a hanglider, this hill being a favourite spot as a launch site!
