The ISS gliding serenely over the Mediterranean Sea, photographed by the departing Atlantis crew. This was the last shuttle mission of this year. The final half dozen or so construction mission to finish the space station will be spread throughout 2010 leading to the shuttle fleets (probable) retirement.
