i have been looking for wood ducks for ever. finally got some shots. this was taken in homosasass national wildlife preserve in florida. the background and birds were so dark i had to go to 1/60 sec i'm really glad i took the tripod. i am now using a 70-300mm DO IS USM lens (canon) i tried an L type lens and couldn't get it to work on my camera. this one is best for me.
